HOW TO BACKUP OUTLOOK EMAILS?

If you are using Outlook and want to backup the messages folder locally, you can automatically import/export the items to a .pst file

Following are the steps:

  • Select File > Open & Export > Import/Export

  • A new window is opened showing actions to perform whether export or import. Select Export to a file and click Next

  • Select Outlook data file to export the file and click Next

  • Select the mail folder you want to back up and select Next.

  • Choose a name and location for backup file by click on Browse. You can choose the options from options

save exported file as

  • Click Finish
